7th Annual
Minden Maker's Fair
Saturday, November 1st
11 AM-4 PM
Makers Fair is not designed like any standard trade show or conference. It is a fun, interactive maze of demonstrations, exhibits, workshops, and displays. Minden Makers Fair commits to keeping the event environmentally friendly and simple in design. Just think of the old state fair where everyone arrives with their wares and sets up their exhibit! We will feature different exhibit areas to accommodate the diversity of projects, and we encourage makers to create their look and feel! This event aims to bring the community together to support unique makers and vendors, create art, and enjoy nature at The Farm of Cultural Crossroads.
Apply to be a part of Minden Maker's Fair this Fall
Types of Exhibits:
Vendor 10x10 Booth
A single area to show and sell what you make. You must provide your own canopy, seating, and display. We are only accepting 55 vendors total.
Food Vendors: We wish to highlight what our community has to offer with food, drinks, and snacks. We will do our best to ensure no two vendors sell the same items.
Activity Area: Hands-on, fun, interactive area that encourages audience participation to make and take a work of art or two.
Demonstration or Workshop: During a short show-and-tell session, makers demo (and teach) particular skills, techniques, or processes, explaining materials and tools and stepping through a building process, sharing their knowledge, and interacting with the audience. Sessions are less than 30 minutes and may be repeated. We want to expose the community to the work behind the art, if you’re interested in a demonstration please let us know!
